Glasfryn Parc

Glasfryn Activity park is situated around 20 mins drive from our self catering holiday cottage here at Cae Garw on the Lleyn Peninsula, and is an award winning attraction, as well as being one of the top tourist attractions of North Wales.

Lying just outside the town of Pwllheli, it is open every day except Christmas from 10am until late.For a great day out, it offers such activities as go-karting, wakeboarding, quad bike safari, Ten Pin Bowling, archery, fishing, kids zone indoor play area as well as a dining area, licensed bar and Farm shop. Disabled facilities are available.

Wakepark ( new for 2010)

Learn how to wakeboard by being towed by an overhead cable without having to rely on a boat. Being the first of its kind in Wales, the Wakepark is open every day during the summer. Parcipants must be over 8 yrs old, and competent swimmers. Full instruction is given by a BWS qualified wakeboarding pro throughout each session. Cost is £20 per person for 15 minutes spread over an hour's session with a maximum of four people per session, and includes equipement hire ( wet suits, helmets etc)

Go-Karting

Just arrive and drive - no pre booking needed. With both a Senior, Junior and primary circuit - and a range of kart sizes, Glasfryn provides an action packed famly fun day out for any age group - (with younger kids from 3yrs sharing a double kart).A floodlit circuit provides evening racing and, with a computerised timing system - you can be assured of a thrilling and competitive race.Helmets and overalls are provided with full driving instructions given.

Quad Biking

Pre-booking is advisable. A guided trek will take you around the Glasfryn Estate and is suitable from age 12 upwards (80cc or 250cc quads) - covering around 4 miles of farmland and lasting around 50 minutes. A Junior circuit is provided for kids from age 6 onwards (50cc).Protective clothing and satefy instructions given.

Ten pin Bowling

With an 8 lane bowling area, Glasfryn's Ten Pin Bowling centre provides fun for all the family and is open every day of the week from 10am till late.Pre Booking is recommended, game price includes hire of shoes. A great day out!

A fully licensed bar is open from 6pm onwards, with an eating area serving home made meals.

Kids' Zone

This amazing indoor centre covers any eventualities in terms of the weather !The new children's Play Area includes a party room which is crammed with young toddler's activities, including Ball Pool and slides . Great for fun team building activities and children's entertainement. No wonder this fun centre is listed as being one of "Wales' Premier Action and Activity Centre" and one of North Wales' best family attraction.

Archery

Qualified archery instructors offer tuition for individuals or groups, novice and experienced alike - in half hour or hour sessions. All equipment is provided, and Glasfryn has bows in an range of sizes which are suitable for children (6 yrs up)or adults.

Fishing

Glasfryn ParK has two man-made Coares fishing lake, which are fed from nearby flowing streams. Although the main fish stocked are Carp , there are also Tench, Rudd, Roach and Perch. Disabled facilities include a specially adapted pier. Fishing sessions last from 10am to 6pm, although early morning and late fishing can also be catered for .

Farm Shop

Glasfryn's Award Winning Farm Shop has so much to offer, including a wide selection of the Lleyn's finest produce- sourced as much as possible form local farmers. Offering speciality cheeses, homemade jams and preserves, organic produce, vegetables, dairy produce , as well as game and Welsh Black beef specially reared at the Glasfryn Estate - it has gained a well earned reputation.
